Just wanted to say a shout out to all the single lads out there sending numerous messages and getting shot down!! Chin up boys!!
Women on here are lured into a false sense of security,( I for one don't blame them ) after recieving 2 / 300 messages a day, and over night thinking they've turned into Kim kardashian!!
Keep plugging away lads, the right one will come along eventually!!

It isn't a false sense of security though.
It would take two to three hundred hours of plastic surgery to turn me into Kim Kardashian  not the one or two messages we get. |

There are always exceptions to this!! And it's the exceptions that make them selves known on the posts... The other thousands of single ladies that turn their noses up at men for having an imperfect hair line just hang in the background!! Not saying a thing |

The same concept could be thrown back to us guys? We all have a virtual ego on here to some degree. I.e. dicks for profile pics thinking it's OK to message women on here saying crude remarks (I am not one of those!) Isn't it just visa versa. We guys have a false sense of confidence and become egotistical (big word for me! BOOOOOOOOOOOSH). |

Yes I agree there's a lot of women in here who get a false sense of importance and grandeur because of the amount of begging messages from the Any Holes A Goal brigade and the White Knights etc.
But you can usually spot these types quite easily by reading their profiles and how they word their profiles which usually include a list a of demands .
Just block and ignore profiles like that and concentrate on the huge number of very nice women in here who don't have their minds clouded by the fake attention that places like this can create.

I rarely send proactive messages, might be why my ratio of responses is quite high.
It's only the guys who fawn and pander jump through hoops that give some ladies a false sense of anything,

maybe it would help if men were so scatter gun in there approach to sending mail...
i don't really see where sending lets say 20-30 of the in effect same message per day/week/month is really effective....
i think if they finally worked out more equals generic equals less chance.... there would be a ton less angst generally.... |

I just looked on updates - not one lady near us has put that.
Bet it's not a large percentage that do it - you prob just notice it if it aggravates you for some reason.
Maybe - it's the fake profiles that have that as an update.......
