Same here , and a bit crass to show it in the afternoon on Easter Sunday when youngsters are watching it .

It was one of my favourite films as a kid... Cant get what the fuss was about..
If it was the deaths.. They best not show Bambi, lion king or many other"kids " movies |

My sister took me to the cinema to see this when I was very young. I cried so much she had to take me out!!! 
I probably wouldn't let my daughter watch it not because of the bunny reference and it being Easter just because she's a hormonal mess atm! |

They used to show it at Christmas powerful film. Here's an idea if you don't like what your kids are sitting down to watch take some responsibility.

if kids get upset as i think most of us would watching that film doesnt matter what day its shown - made me cry buckets - possibly still would but ive watched it many times |
