Looks like we had a bit of rain overnight. Drizzle at the moment. One of my empty plastic flower pots has blown over in the breeze.

Hardly shocking here....

Drizzle is the worst sort of precipitation for shizzle.

"It's grim up North"

A bit of a breeze, and a spot of rain.

Us Manc's can cope.

If you climb the rigging and take a turn at lookout, you can keep us updated. Bed seems a better prospect at the moment. If we squidge up, anyone else want to come and warm their feet.

The river that periodically floods my row of houses is now full to the brim and on the verge of spilling over!

I wish the rain would do one cos I don't fancy another few months of no carpets or furniture, industrial dryers, replacing kitchen units, replastering, redecorating and a midge infestation (thats MIDGE not MINGE )

Its been really windy today and cold and now heavy rain just started, few trees have fallen down as well, they say the storm was recorded in some parts in UK at 100mph, impressive

Has the government not requested a financial assistance package to assist all those who flood?

oh wait, why would he do that, that means Cameron would actually be trying to help someone in UK

...Up on the Downs

The sea was spectacular in the wind yesterday, huge plumes of foam crashing against the sea wall like a geyser!

West Wales and Cardiff

It's been lovely here in Wales.

Lots of reports of bad weather in the south-East on here and elsewhere.

Presumably that's because a single deck chair toppled over in Margate or something

Before lighthouse,s were known in those weather conditions yesterday many ships run aground into low lieing rocks reefs etc over the centurys and thousands have been lost at sea that way around our coast, the lighthouse,s have saved many lives since in the last two hundred years we have quite an history there on this Island from rescuers in rowing boats like grace darling to henry blogg from cromer in norfolk its hard to Imagine them in conditions like that but they did often enough to save a lot of lifes and occasionally loseing some of their own.

That is right, went out earlier and saw few laying on the ground. The gusts must of really been strong to get them down.
