Some people sweat the small stuff - because either they've never had to deal with major life events or its their personality type.

Put on some music. You could try twerking to Crazy in love - Beyoncé.

I look at some threads and I can tell people have posted either them or certain comments in order to be provocative and get a reaction...and not in a good way

That's why I said need some real problems so they can see the difference when it's something that really does matter.

I think most of us would moan about small things but keep the big issues to ourselves or close friends...

What is trivial to some is major to others. Instead of wishing them to know real problems maybe we should just be happy that they have none?

Ye maybe so. But I also think knowing the difference makes you see how short life can be and appreciate the good things a little more

I know when I'm in one of those moods where I think how trivial someone else's problem is, I have to remind myself that to them, it's a big deal.

The alternative of 'shut the fuck up & get a grip' is always simmmering underneath

I am not sure what you are going through at the moment and I hope whatever it is is resolved quickly but personally I don't think that just because people gave it tough it makes them appreciate things more than others.

Also, I moan and gripe about stupid things on social media ...most recently the fact I put my heart rate monitor in the washing machine but I don't moan and gripe on there about having to watch my nan die or the fact that I am currently struggling with the way my personal life is heading...the little things deflect the attention from the bigger things and while I'm mithering about them the other stuff goes further down the list.

Just my perspective on it anyway. Don't judge others based on what they project outwardly, you don't know what they are dealing with behind the facade.
