to be fair its a pretty scary film for children to be watching, i find it scary even now
although, you are right....instead of complaining you can self censor what your children watch by turning the tele over. |

i really laughed when i saw it was on!
a vision of all those eager little chocolate smeared faces slowly falling as the horror unfolded! i watched the devil rides out which i though was very fitting! |

I'm sorry to sound so dry but I don't know if you've noticed but there are millions of people dying around the world and being forced from their own countries and families.
And they're worried about animated rabbits?
No wonder the world's so fucked up! |

"It's a fucking horror film! Why are they showing it before the watershed?? " does it really matter surely its more warning parents complaining rather than monitor their childrens television viewing

who says their not worried about that too? just because their complaints about this programme being shown over Easter have made an interesting news story doesn't mean they are not bothered by other things that are happening in the world.
I am sure that you are capable of worrying about the greater world population but also other trivial matters that affect you on a more personal level.

Lol it's a children's cartoon."
it's a cartoon....not necessarily a childrens film though. not all cartoons are meant for children. |

Thanks for clearing that up for me.Im just going by the rating system and the fact that I have watched it as a child and an adult. |

My point is that trivial things aren't as important as other things that are happening for real around us. No way which way you look at it, animated rabbits dying on tv are not as important as real people dying in real life.
These people have way too much time on their hands! |

I remember being scared after watching it. I loved the book though and still have it somewhere.
The parents have presumably just made their views known. It wasn't really the greatest idea on Easter Sunday with bunnies being one of the main images. Cute ones not killer ones with red eyes!
Like someone else said - rather that then those that let their children watch over 18 films and play video games like Call of Duty at younger ages. But that's another debate altogether.

Says the person moaning on a swingers site about people complaining about a cartoon on the tele? Surely there's irony there right? I mean.....there are so many more tragic events going on in the world, the complaints of others should hardly factor into your day?! |
