Surely Vardy has to start after last night and the form he has been in for Leicester City. I'd start Kane with Vardy. Rooney will take a while to get back to match fitness, and strikers sometimes get a bit rusty when they've not played for a while through injury.

It pains me to say it but let Deli Alli have his place. I wouldn't give Rooney a football let alone a start. If we actually want to win things there should be no room for sentiment.

I think there's definitely a place for him, I just don't think he's the "shoe in" he used to be but then he has been at it what nearly 16 years now so plenty of experience for some situations

On a slightly different note it was sad to see paul gascoyne on the front of the sun newspaper yesterday he looked like he had had a fight with the devil himself but in reality his alcohol addiction must seem like that daily to him now it saddens me to see how he has become.
