Buy Adelle a pie

Just heard chirpy Adelle on the radio and come to the conclusion that , well , she's not happy . I can just imagine Morrissey and Dido in a bar listening to her songs and thinking " Oh for fucksake cheer up love ! It might never happen ! " So I'm gonna buy her a steak and kidney pie out of the chippy and see does that perk her up a bit . Anyone else got any suggestions on how we can cheer her up and stop her banging on about failed relationships ?

Or maybe if she did a musical solo on the spoons that would really get a good old knees up going . And I thought that lad out of the Streets was depressed when he sang " Dry your eyes mate " and hollered out that haunting line " I've got a propah sorry frahhhhhhhhhhhhnn " . A real tear jerker .

I'd buy her an award winning pork pie from hoffmans

Warmed in the oven not the microwave, mushy peas and gravy

That will sort her out

Why do people always whinge about music that's not happy? Are we always constantly happy as humans? No we are not so why not have music that can reflect all moods? Personally the music I listen to generally reflects the mood I am in. However I personally don't care for Adele as her music is not my cup of Tetleys

She certainly isn't the happiest multi millionaire out there is she ?

What she does , she does really well , hence her status . But I've never liked her music , nor her attitude .

Clearly has some issues which seem no nearer to being resolved now than they were when she took her last sabbatical .

I like Adele. I can only imagine that for every failed relationship song she sings, she's banking another few million. That might be of some comfort to her.

The best music is not "happy"; it's sad, or dramatic or emotional.

Think of all the really crap music; it's all the "happy" stuff....

Agadoo, Birdie Song, Summer Holiday.... I can't go on without feeling sick.

Yuk.

Lots of very well to do people I know are miserable fuckers (not all) and the problem is the worry of money.

They don't worry about bills, making ends meet, or can I afford a newer car. They worry about been ripped off, about partners wanting them only for money and now they've got everything what do they do now.

But Adelle is a very good singer just had some bad life experiences. No need to be sad all the time though. Life is to short.

I'll go down on her, she'll be doing a cover of walking on sunshine within a week.

Lovely girl

Great music

And how many people have got over shit relationships while listening to her albums? Sometimes it helps to feel your not alone in misery

Stick her in a room with Sam Smith for an hour. She's got nothing on that whiny twat and her next album may be titled 'I'm happy now'!

Angus & Findhorn

she is playing out her upset, angst and dealing with her stuff that way.

considering the wallowing in self pity, faux outrage, angst because someone has sent a pissy message, lost mojos, people don't get enough attention or a shag that goes on in here, it's a tad ironic that people give her shit for it.

Or , for her next video she could bounce around on a space hopper whilst eating jelly and custard . Now that's bound to turn that old frown upside down . It'll be like " It's a Knock out " in the 1970s .

Well I think the only way poor old Adelle is going to drag her arse out of this quagmire of misery is to do a cover version of a successful pop star from years gone by ....George Formby . Now old George was a master of belting out chirpy hits with just enough hints of sauciness to make a nun blush . If Adelle did a cover of " When I'm cleaning windows " it would not only be a top banging tune in night clubs in Ibiza , but may at long last let the poor lass know the joy of the corners of her mouth going up......as well as down . Please fellow fabbers....let's make this song number 1 .

As for her songs, they do sound similar to each other.

I agree with the above comments about cash as it always seems to revolve back to this. But she is living proof , money doesn't make this particular pop star happy . Maybe if she went to Alton towers that might cheer her up , or if someone bought her some comedy wind up chattering teeth ?
