Every couple of years we go to a tiny place in Majorca right on the beach. We eat, sleep, make love, swim, drink cava, watch rubbish entertainment, wander about finding somewhere to spend three hours having lunch and generally just doing nothing useful at all. It's GREAT  .

hire a car and drive up teide ..... it's pretty cool up there. drive up at night too ...... gazillions of stars! stop at some mountain cantina for plato del dia on the way
