Good young team tonight. Should Woy Hodgson bother taking Rooney? He's choked at every major tournament in an England shirt. Time to give others a chance? |

this..
Rooney has had his day too many times and failed to deliver..

He aint the player he was and he has never done it in an England shirt. I'd love to see some young hungry players out there and see what happens.

Never done it in an England shirt??
He has been our most committed player for the last decade and is our all time record goalscorer. He was also quality in his first major tournament untill he got injured. |

Geoff Hurst was good..

"They should play Kane and Sturridge upfront then Rooney in behind with 3 central midfielders"
Sturridge will probably be injured again by the time the euros start. |

Sturridge? He's played a handful of games all season you shouldn't get in the team because your a big name
Vardy deserves to start way more then him |

I don't rate Vardy that highly, I don't think he'd be able to perform at an international level. Sturridge when fit is pretty lethal. Unlike the other strikers we have he can actually run at defenders and turn them inside out. Vardy would be a good impact sub with his pace but I'd choose Sturridge over him however Sturridge would probably get injured boarding the plan to be fair |

Lots of them were qualification matches.I just think if fit he deserves to be on the plane. His experience could be valuable with such a young squad. |
