I used to think 40 was the best age - a bit of maturity but still really young and fun loving. These days I would say the best age is what I am on the day because I have (some) maturity but am also lucky to have a lot of energy.
What era? Probably this one tbh |

Original post this, loving life at the moment so mid 30s seems a good age
Would love to experience life in the Art Deco period so say perhaps the 1930s. The art, design, architecture, clothing. And life without mobile phones Facebook constantly being filmed etc |

I would say 18 but I didn't have my son or my husband so that would be a sort of negative, in some ways.
I would say 23 because I didn't have any health problems then, so was slimmer and better looking of course.
I was fairly optimistic about my future then and never imagined how bad things would get.
The 80s because I liked the fashion, and almost everything else. |

Interesting thread. When i was 20 couldnt imagine being in my 50s but they are up to now best age for me. I would like to have been born 50s for the music and hippy era or i liked the glamour of the 20s and 30s. But i think the year i was born suits me, i wasnt sent up chimneys and it was quite simplistic as a child. I think later children feel the need to grow up quickly |

You know, I think right about now it's pretty good enough for me. I'm actually in the best shape physically I've been since, well, forever. Mentally, I've been through so much, pretty much nothing hurts any more.
It's like being at the point on the trampoline between rising and falling. The zero point. |

I was 20 in 1977.
I would definitely love to go back to that year. And stay there.
I Fuckin loved it, Hotel California just released, as was Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, loads of great mates, women a plenty, hardly any immigration problems, just a fantastic year! |
