I have read the Daily Mail for the past 40 years. I know lots of people like to slag it off but it is no worse or better than any other paper.
Each one has its plus and minus points. I read it for news articles and for some of its features and can see how biased it can often be in relation to certain issues.
However, a lot of their columnists and reporters regularly win Annual Awards within the newspaper industry, much more than other papers, so it must have some credibility after all amongst its peers! |

Compare the writing style on the same story to that offered by The Telegraph and see which is less biased and more informative. |

How each newspaper is read and viewed is subjective and every person views different papers in different ways.
If the Telegraph is your preferred paper, that's your choice; in turn I wouldn't wish to suggest it is better or worse than my choice. It is down to personal opinion. |

The Conservatives were elected to g'ment with
331 seats out of 650
To Labour's 232 MPs
This disguises that nationally, the Conservatives received 11.3m votes to Labour's 9.3m votes.
That gave the Conservatives 36% of the popular vote and a lead of more than 100 MPs over Labour.
There are 47.3m people registered to vote in the UK.
A ringing endorsement? |

"Never read it but as I'm continually accused of being a Mail reader on here due to my support for a brexit in the EU referendum think it's time I tried it "
When travelling abroad I always purchase a copy.
First, I want something to keep my bloody pressure up - I don't want to be too relaxed.
Secondly, I have a fantasy that if I'm carrying a copy, Customs Officers will be less interested in me.

I have noticed that they've handed out free copies on a couple of flights I've been on. That explains it then |

But this is The Daily Mail.
You saw some pictures of a frail old lady and her life's work being trashed...
It's not like the Council/bailiffs just did this for fun or without warning.
There would have been a process.
Not saying I agree with it but that's lost in the article.
