It's not a difficult word 'sink' .... So why the bejesus couldn't I think of it when I was talking to a lady this morning instead I stood there looking stupid saying. Nothing ...
I could think of draining board, worktops cupboards pots pans knives forks but nope sink eluded me...
Ever had it happen to yourselves or is it just me and my age. |

Its called 'aphasia' -difficulty finding the right words.
If its just the odd word now & again & you're over 40 this isn't significant.
However difficulty finding the right words AND names for things 'anomia' CAN be a sign of brain damage resulting from numerous causes or an indication of dementia related disorders.
If its causing you a problem, seek medical advice. |
