I'm a bit of a Luddite. I use my phone for text and calls. I do have a tablet but only found out you can put music on it and watch videos and stuff recently - not that I know how to do those things. I have never streamed anything.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Took me a while to get a smartphone (2014) and a flat screen TV (2015) but got there in the end. I just wait until the furore and the price goes down.

i'm more of a 'I'm not going to pay that for some piece of tech, I'll wait til the price drops then consider it' kind of person though i do consider ipads to be shite mainly due to having one (got for free) and realising it can't do 10% of what my pc can do

I'm not a Luddite, as I have a smartphone, 4k tv, DSLR camera, and a car with satnav, parking cameras, and a few other built in gizmos, but I don't use Twatter, Farcebook, kik, snapchat, instagram or tinder.(With the amount of success I have here with the ladies, I should maybe try grindr, though.)

This is as close as I get to spcial media, I guess.

we have no tv, we have smart phones with no data package, 1210 decks and tens of thousands of vinyl, a van from 2001 which we got given for free.

I guess I am a little bit ....

I don't have a TV or a car I have a bicycle - and an ancient netbook ( poor lamb! )

I do have a smart phone but it's not one of the newer more expensive models that do things I don't understand or care about!

And I'm pretty out of touch with any new technology - that's not because I'm doing it out of the pretentious need to rebel I just simply don't care!

Last time I checked, there were 20 devices attached to the internet in our house, so I guess you could say we aren't tech-averse! Rarely early-adopters though, that's a mugs game.

can anyone really confess to being a luddite whilst engaging on a web forum accessed by what must be a relatively new piece of technology?

To my mind technology should be embraced if for no other reason than to make things easier for ourselves.

A fridge Is the equivalent of your hole in the ground that you fill with ice and snow yearly to keep the food fresh

As to multiple carbs at least two vacuum gauges will be needed

And it's total heresy to mention a z1300 in a swinging website and the gods of excellent motorcycles will cause you to break down in the rain and keep you waiting for 4 hours for the aa

I mix and match new and old, and it works for me, I like old cars, I drive a 1968 Mercedes 280 se, before that it was a 1972 vw bettle, but my pride and joy is in the garage, waiting for me to have the time to start restoring it, a 1963 Ford zodiac.

My guitar kit is a mix, I have two line 6 amps, and a 1977 marshal valve amp, a 1985 fender strat an epiphone, zac wilde les Paul, ibinez mick Thompson signature, a Dean dime bag signature, and ibinez 4 and 5 string bass

everything else I like new tech, there's nothing to gain from having an old tv, not like a turntable, and I only buy essential records now, cds are more convenient storage wise
