Unbelievable circumstances with people who you me on swinger/dating sites

London

I was chatting once with a complete random guy (not here, at some other chatting website)

He hasn't seen my picture, he only knew I am curvy and tall and what city I was living in. And it not a small city - 1.7 million citizens.

He asked me what I do, I said I am photographer. And he asked if I am Canon or Nikon, I said Canon. And he said, that it may sound weird and he don't wanna scare me, but was I buying Canon 6D body there and there something like 4 weeks ago?

I was like what the fuck, did he hack my computer, is he my stalker, or what?

Because yes I was buying that Canon 6D, and he happen to be next customer who was watching me and was hesitating to ask something/start conversation.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's a bit creepy isn't it?

Was it a site for others with a photography interest?

I've had people find me and be outside my home after giving them my first name. The internet is a powerful tool.

It was chatroom with no photography interest. Kind of dating chatroom with swinger twist. No photo inclinations.

Yes it was creepy! but I learned later, it truly was a coincidence.

And he didn't have any power to check who is talking to.

Maybe there are not a lot of curvy tall woman into photography?

That's very spooky.

But it does happen from time to time!

I once went on a vanilla date with a girl (my first and only ever) went fine, but just not for me, and forgot about her.

6 months later, I met a guy from fab and started seeing him regularly.

Turns out they had been previous fb's.

Twenty years ago I placed an ad in the Soulmates section of The Guardian and the man I had just split from answered it. It led to me becoming celibate for 14 years.

O o O oo

It happened to me, but I had been on cam in the chatroom the day before so he had seen my face. I don't think it is creepy though, just a coincidence

Filthy Fuckeryville

The guy at the end of my room spotted me in chat at the same time that someone else popped up saying they had seen me in Sainsburys the night before!

The Sainsburys couple have said several times that they have seen me since (but don't show themselves?!) and the guy who's house I can see from mine got fucked last week.....!

I've randomly bumped into people multiple times, in various parts of the world - it's easier than you think, even with billions of people.

Once you narrow down a population into interest categories then the numbers can seem much smaller.

Finding people is part of my job. It can be ridiculously easy sometimes especially with social media

I've never had that happen yet, nobody that I know on fab, no neighbours at a club, no exs randomly jumping out... It makes me worry when it will happen

Yes.

This is what I'm trying to instill into children - as much as the internet is an amazing way to look at the world, it's also a way for the world to look at YOU.

On my first ever fab meet we were chatting about random stuff and he asked where I lived...He then recounted the tale of the kind lady from where I lived who brought him a cuppa out when he broke down one night in the snow in his truck in a residential area...I was that lady!!!

I had a one night stand with a guy who turned into a creepy stalker. Years later I turned up for my first day at a new job only to find he was my supervisor.

Stourbridge

We were in Chameleons in Darleston, Mrs W was on the swing, I was "attending to her needs" when a former colleague tapped me on the shoulder and insisted on shaking hands whilst shouting my name loudly. I hadn't seen him for 10 years.

No thankfully not! It was mostly OK but he got a bit sleazy on staff nights out! Alcohol does that though!

I was recently on a weekend away with a friend. We where obliged to share a table with two friendly ladies we had never met before. One of them had a sister who it turned out was married to a guy my friend and I knew but had not seen for many years. Anyway the sister turned up to visit her sister and I had spoken to her the weekend earlier (but not played) at a swinging club.
