They're both bad and unless you're family or extremely close to someone, we shouldn't tell people they're unhealthy and that they're too fat or thin. We also need to stop glorifying obesity and anorexia |

They're going off metabolism now and how healthy your lifestyle is. Smoking, excess drinking, not nough exercise, and poor diet are the contributing factors that affect your well being.
Records do show you're more likely to die younger if you're underweight than overweight. Although a lot of terminal illnesses cause you to lose weight so this might add to those stats? I'm not into stats really, never know how they've been tampered with to make something look a certain way. |

I feel like this thread isn't gunna turn out well.
Anyway, they are both really unhealthy. It depends on how far on the spectrum you are on either side.

I know that obesity in the up an coming generation of children is a big concern and according to some sources they will be the first generation to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. This doesn't prove that being over weight is less healthy than being underweight though. |

I don't think it's straight forward enough to just say one is over the other.
Besides:
Take an ideal weight and add 5 stone = overweight.
Then take an ideal and subtract 5 stone = almost dead. |

"If you're the parent of an overweight child at least you know who to blame.
Yes the soft drinks industry. "
Lol yeah! They're always round here, forcing my kids to drink it! I'm powerless to stop them! |

"underweight looks better than overweight for sure"
I looked like a starving rat when I was very underweight. I was flat from a sideways angle,no tits or bum. My face was gaunt and I was seriously unhealthy. I was eating a biscuit and a few spoons of rice pudding a day. I feel better at the moment than I did then. |
