Any lump would probably need further investigation by equipment that a doc would not be able to bring along.
Phone the Docs and discuss the concerns you have. I'm sure there is a service where someone can come in with you and offer support.
Don't ignore a lump!!! |

I sympathise. I get anxious in situations like that, I just manage to cover it up with fake overly confident body language.
Maybe get a friend to have a feel and see what they think and then get that friend to come with you if you need to go? |

I use Doctor care anywhere (costs £10 a month or £10 one off appointment) on my iPhone (presume you can use laptop) you get a 15 min video call or phone call with registered fully trained doctor, it's fab and they can do referrals to local hospitals or healthcare insurance - I use it as would rather not waste 1/2 day with sick people in waiting rooms
+ you can get an appointment within 2 hours |

Hello, my lovely.
Please don't leave this. You said that none of your friends or family live close enough...have you told any of them? Given them the chance to be with you for support? It seems you are a brave person for having a tv/ts profile on here. Please use some of that courage to ask your family or friends for help, and ask your GP (not the receptionist) for a home visit. Some surgeries offer telephone gp appointments. This may be a way of getting the ball rolling (forgive me!).
Love and hugs,
Lisa xx |
