Did the Sports Relief Mile.. in 2 parts.
I heard the guy say 3 laps for the walkers.. so did 3 laps in 18 mins. Pleased as punch with that time! Was given my medal as i crossed the finnish and was told to go insie to cool down and there was refreshments etc
Just as we were leaving one of the Sports Centre guys said 'Did you do all 4 laps then?'... i looked confused and said 'But the other guy said 3'
so id gone from manjor buzz and celebrating with others to feeling like a right muppet and failure. I dropped my grandmother home then me and my daughter went back and walked another lap so we can say 'we walked it'
The point of the challenge was that i beat my personal best time and i did the 3 laps without stopping.
just feeling so 'grrrrrr' about the whole thing |

Why though it wasn't your fault, you managed 3 laps and then did another one later don't feel pissed off and frustrated feel happy and accomplished...seriously why be negative over something that was a positive you completed the goal |

I get what your saying,, and im proud that me and Amber went back and did the 4th lap.. so we were entitled to wear our medals.... but my target was to do it in one go.. not with an hours gap between lap 3 and 4
Im just stubborn |

Go back next week and do it on your own if you can. I know how frustrated and disappointed you must feel today but if you do it next week you will have satisfied your personal honour.
Well done! You did it anyway |

Surely the real point of the challenge was to raise funds to help ease the suffering for people who are living wretched lives....
You accomplished the mission.... so give yourself a big pat on the back.....
You deserve it,,,, |

Selfishly it wasnt..
Was awarded a blue badge as my mobility was shockingly bad around Nov time.. This was very much a personal challenge for myself
Raising funds was secondary, but its been amazing knowing that people have donated so generously because they believe in me.. xx |

You beat a p.b and felt like a failure? One thinks you're being too hard on your self.
Well done for getting out and doing some thing and we'll done for the p.b! |
