Slimline Tonic water with lime is it here and black coffee for B - sod the sugar tax!
Hugh Jackman is on Ant & Dec - much as I get forced to watch it by the rest of the house (I'm watching the rugby secretly too!) I can cope with him on there!

"I have "Celebration Shloer". It comes in a champagne style bottle.
I don't think I'm going to confuse it with bubbly though.

You're a bad influence!
I have a bottle of Prosecco here if I want it. I won it at the Sheffield social. |

With a stupidly large choice of mixers. I'm currently on the elderflower. Very manly. |

Gin tastes a bit like perfume to me. At least, how I imagine perfume would taste, being as I don't tend to drink perfume.
I've had a bottle of the one, gin, not perfume, that comes in the blue bottle here for years and haven't opened it. |

I'll have to find some suitable mixers and try it. |

Hendricks is dark blue if I remember correctly. Bombay Sapphire is lighter.
I meant Hendricks but now you mention it, I think I have some Bombay Sapphire too.
For someone who rarely drinks, my drinks cupboard is rather full. |

"For someone who rarely drinks, my drinks cupboard is rather full....It's full because you rarely drink! "
Yep.
I occasionally get things in for Christmas or people bring them round or whatever and I never drink any of it.
Off the top of my head I have vodka, gin, Bacardi, tequila, Cointreau, Amaretto, Tia Maria, Malibu, Archers, Sourz toffee apple, sloe gin, dozens of cocktail ingredients like creme de cassis, triple sec, creme de menthe...
There's more than one bottle of some of those too.
I also have 3 different colours of After Shock. All of which are undrinkable and should probably be used for cleaning drains.
That's just what I can remember, (and excluding wine). I'm sure there's more. |

I think so. I occasionally put rum in my coffee though, so I may have less of that than most other things. |

I suppose that would be effective. If it wasn't working out right, I'd quite soon not care anyway.
It sounds like a plan. |

The trick for me is two things:
1-getting the amount of orange right. It needs to be there, but subtle. My best way is to scrunch a satsuma (or similar) into the cocktail shaker with the ice (lots), tequila (about a treble) and the juice of half a lime.
Shake to fuck.
Serve in a glass with absolutely loads of ice.
Start making the next as you drink, because it will be gone in seconds. |

Thanks. I'll try to remember that next time I have a desire for a margaritafest. |
