After bei g o a archaeological dig, i left my trousers on the floor of my hotel room. That night, i thought i saw a ghostly figure sta ding where i left my trousers. Time to get an exorcist?  |

As I have got older I,ve always fancied more a go on a archaelogical dig no tv now but I enjoyed watching time team with tony Robinson and his comrades its surpriseing how much history is in the ground near here we have a site that had a romano settlement on it once and quite a rare coin was found on this land in fact so rare it was one of only one or more found in this country I used to have a metal detector but only used it sensibly when I had it, it was a boss I had who belonged a club for metal detectors and they worked certain farmland (ploughed fields) in goatham in notts and he showed me the coins he found some medievil silver cross coins and a beautiful silver roman coin where the emperors head on the coin stood up (not literally haha) high he told me it was 1600 hundred years old but they were always finding coins there back in the 1980,s very privledged to do so to If I,d had the same opportunitys I,d been soon hooked on the hobby of detecting them it makes me wonder why there was so much coinage out there unless there was a horde at some time buried there surely not roman as well as there was less of them in number. |
