Very little since I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I look very closely at sugar content. My blood sugar level is below average now.
It is bloody scary how much sugar content is in a lot of foods. |

At the moment probably not too bad actually, I'm doing a lot of cooking from scratch so not much processed stuff, am off the booze, given up chocolate for lent, I don't add it to hot drinks or drink fizzy drinks except the odd Diet Coke, so what I get will be what's naturally occurring in fruit and vegetables mainly. I have no idea what that equates to in terms of recommended limits but should be fine. |

Well if you ate the same number of oranges that were juiced to make that, they would have 9grams of sugar so a high sugar content doesn't stop it being pure orange juice. |

I don't eat much fruit or bread. I don't really have much candy, either. Marc tends to make most of our food from scratch. So in that sense I'm mostly ok.
I do sometimes drink , which is my weakness, but only about 2 liters every 2 months or so. And cider. And I put two sugars in my coffee, and I drink lots of coffee.
But overall I think I'm ok. My entire family has diabetes, including my brother whose had it since age 27, so it's something I have to be somewhat vigilant about. |

Got to laugh seen 'reduced sugar'museli, higher sugar content than normal, really is a struggle keeping in daily limits, specially where food labelling lumps refined/unrefined together, making percentage look Lowe than really is? |

Same here, over the last few weeks I have cut down to zero in coffee/tea unless I feel like a treat, not that often!
And watching everything I eat, awkward but feeling much better for it, and from 17.2 down to 6.4 on my last check this morning |
