I like her, she had a difficult relationship with her Dad and is very self critical. Fantastic cyclist.
There are many worse people in the world. Lance Armstrong for one.

Just in it for the money? Well she has worked hard to earn it. You don't just get on a horse and magically be able to ride it. She has spent the last year training for the chance to race at Cheltenham. It was never definite. If she was just in it for the money then why hasn't she done big brother or I'm a celeb? |

From what I've seen of her, I've found her to be a brilliant role model, she's dedicated, humble enough to admit her own faults, willing to push her self and not settle for second best.
As to being on it for the money, the amount of training she did for cycling medals, there are easier methods to getting money than having to put herself through all of that. |

She's famous because she was an incredibly talented cyclists. The fact that she chooses to capitalise on that is perfectly sensible and far from unusual in retired sports people.
She's an excellent role model so not sure why the ire for simply being successful |

It's a fantastic achievement, good luck to her. To go from never riding a horse to coming fifth in a national hunt race at Cheltenham, all be it a race for amateur jockeys is unbelievable. It takes a lot of courage to sit on a thoroughbred race horse let alone race one over jumps in front of millions fair play to her. |
