there's more than one meaning to resign.

it can also mean you accepted your fate, to submit or give up.

although there is a verb resign where you do sign something again. maybe you're resigning your original job contract as not valid?

It's satisfying to walk out of a job

"It's satisfying to walk out of a job "

I've never done it - I must at some point though. Add it to the "to do" list!

i read yesterday that 75% of people who leave their job is because of their boss and not the job itself. was quite shocked at this tbh.

I'm not. When I leave this job it will be because of my boss. I have virtually no autonomy and she constantly gives me nothing to do even though there is loads to be done.

If I could do the job without her then I would but I can't so I'll find something else.

London and France

As they say, work is like a tree full of monkeys;

If you are at the top, looking down, all you see is smiling faces ;

If you are lower down, and look up, all you see is arseholes .....

I resigned from my job yesterday too, never thought I'd feel good about it, but boy it feels great! It's like a massive weight off my shoulders..
