God I love this show. I have all the original series on DVD and never get bored watching them. I love how the endings have great twists and good scares.

My favourite episode has to be The Invaders where a woman is being attacked by tiny invaders in her own home. The twist is awesome but I won't spoil it for you.

What is your favourite Twilight Zone episode?

Can't remember specifics. They should do re-runs.

I agree. They should play the original series on channels the Syfy channel.

The series from the 80's and 00's never appealed to me. I always liked the original series of The Twilight Zone as it has such excellent storylines

As you mention the Invaders, I used to enjoy watching an old TV series called The Invaders in the 1980's but the series was made in the 60's. Main character was called David Vincent, been watching re-runs of it on the horror channel.

I remember those episodes, they sure are good ones. I know that some episodes of The Twilight Zone used props and sets from The Time Machine (1960). They even used the sounds of the Morlocks in a couple of episodes as well

The one that sticks in my head is the one where the guy is convinced there's a monster outside the airplane on the wing .. Brilliant tv of its time

I think it was Nightmare at 20,000 ft

Good episode that one. Eye of the beholder is freaky when all the doctors and nurses have pig faces

I enjoyed both the original series and 80's one with the theme redone by The Greatful Dead.

The Outer Limits was also great, even the 90's series has some good episodes.

I a big fan and collector of old tv shows. Currently rewatching SOAP and it's still hillarious.

I know for a fact that props and sets used in some episodes of The Twilight Zone were also used in the 1960's movie The Time Machine.

Seeing that a new Twilight Zone revival is being released, I thought I'd bump this back up and talk about what everyone thinks of this new revival and if it will live up to the original Twilight Zone.

I personally think that much like the revivals back in the 80's and early 2000's, the new revival will try but probably won't live up to the original.

The original Twilight Zone I think everyone would agree is by far the best.

I have all of the original series, the 80's and the new Twilight Zone. While the 80's did a dam fine job, the new Twilight Zone is total dog shit.

A lot of those new TZ episodes even Stevie Wonder could see the ending come from a mile away, but they completely miss a trick and do something unexpected and have a boring ending and your left feeling a bit empty

Fyi when I say new I mean the ones from 2002 with Forest Whitaker.

I was unaware there was going to be a 2019 revival.

I think the 2019 version will be more like the Outer Limits. I will have to wait untill I see it until I pass judgement.

He's much better in the "Nick if Time" I think that's my favourite William Shatner TW.

Also the enjoy the "The Thirty Fathom Grave" with Bill Bixby.

Thet are so so many great stories from the original series that have twisted; but almost real, visions of the future.

Worthing

The film from 1982 is good. From the series there are a lot of good ones. Time Enough At Last is a fav.

I agree that the movie was good as it did have that certain feel that the original Twilight Zone did but also gave the original stories a really good upgrade especially Nightmare at 20,000 feet with John Lithgow.
