"Ah.

I have little doubt that time travel as understood by most people is beyond any possibility within any particular dimension |

There's a few pics like that. Like the one where a guy is wearing modern Ray bans way before he should. There's no explanation for it |

there isn't any more versions of me, i collected them all up for an expedition, our vehicle crashed and i got hungry so...erm...
but yes the multiverse exists. unfortunately it exists as in Einsteins slices of toast time theory, and those multiworlds are previous or future versions of the world right now, including a present universe also.
i wish i had this good an imagination for sex. |

Lights protons cannot be replicated nor repeted or predicted. When you consider the speed of light and the age of a proton you'll find that sadly, time is impossible. Which sucks. I've spent most of my life trying to crack the idea of time travel. What I'd like to do is regressive time travel. Be able to take myself back into my own past as me as I am now, though back to my 5 year old self, and jump ahead of the game that is life. Shame it'll never happen. Right, where's that Quantum Leap boxeset |

I wonder if some UFOs are people from the future coming back to have a look at what it was like now...
I think they've worked out how to travel forward in time but not back even though they can't test it yet...
If I could go back to any period and be safe, I'd definitely go back and see the dinosaurs. That would so cool!! |

if we travel at speeds faster than light to a distant planet could we not then observe the light coming from Earth as it was when dinosaurs still roamed or to the point of it's very creation ? |

When we look into space at distant stars, we are seeing them as they were millions or billions or years ago, not as they are now. We may be looking at points of light from which the place they originated is gone. Makes ya feel insignificant in some ways, don't it just? |

Yes, if you outrun the light then when you look back, you'll see what once was. Thems physics. |

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but apparently you could only go back to the point when you created the machine and "the future is not set...""
Presuming you need a machine to travel through time then this seems likely.

"If you require to travel faster than light than wouldn't you need some kind of machine to achieve that ?"
Maybe not tbh. We don't have enough information at hand to think of anything other than that though, realistically.
That is how things are progressing too, that we're using robot parts to replace missing physical parts of humans. |

We've done this before.
It is theoretically possible to travel forwards in time, but not anywhen *before* the time machine was created, although the energy necessary to perform this feat is prohibitive - it is greater than all the energy in the solar system |

...the problem with changing things is they don't end up turning out like you would have hoped for... as per the episode of the Twilight Zone where someone got messages from the ship his father was killed on... he managed to change things alright |
