Scott Mill goes to Ugands to experiencesome intense homophobia. Some politicians think thay should get life sentences if men or woman are gay and caught in the act... I had radio on and scott mills was chating about this show tonight .. I think we will get a look at the dark nasty side how thay are treated like animals no feeling about whats wright for them as people .. |

Scott is gay himself and one guy he inter_iewed said he wouldn't have allowed it to go ahead had he known Scott was gay.
Reported the hotel he was staying in, car registration the lot.
Apparently if you know someone is gay and don't tell the government you can be imprisoned too! |

Just think its there Human right to be who are as people Gay, Bi, Less, stright, and with who thay please ... and it so out of order and out of date .... and its controling them ..... and thats bad in 2011 .. whys the world not standing up for them? |

Because they've already got the fat oil contracts tied up with the government?
In cases like this, it tends to be brave individuals who stand up to authoritarianism rather than governments who are too busy playing at realpolitik. Look at Peter Tatchell's attempt to arrest Mugabe. |

We're talking about gays here but please, let's not be naïve, in 2011 there are people being discriminated against because of their colour, religion etc.
Only yesterday on these very forums people commented on being offended at seeing bi activity in clubs!
So let's sort out our own prejudices before we start commenting on these "backward" people!  |
