I can't stand the sight of my own blood, but horror movies and other people's blood don't bother me.

I am the opposite.....I can quite happily watch myself bleed but can't watch gore and my legs go wobbly if I see someone else bleed

It's not the sight of other people's blood that bothers me, it's the smell

Just snipped a skin tag off, took ages to stop leaking the red stuff. felt fine but needles are another matter.

I don't like needles and I have loads of tattoos.....it's a bit mad isn't it but not uncommon from what I have heard

It's probably because you're the injured party. I don't mind blood,I go all weak at the thought of a blade cutting through skin.
