I'm fat, 55 and part of a couple. My other half looks like Jason Statham and younger than me. My profile is hidden as I don't have time for new playmates, my regulars, other half, work and grandchildren keep me busy.

Most men struggle on this site, even the young, fit, single ones.
You seem to have decided it's your age, presumably so you can tell yourself it's unfair and no fault of your own, since it's something you can't change.
It may well be nothing to do with your age. Men older than you get meets on here.
If you're not willing to be objective and are going to pick at people trying to help, (like the comment about the hidden profile - why is that relevant or anything to do with you?), I don't think anyone is going to be able to help you. |

No. Saying people "seem to want people younger" than you is vague and tells us nothing.
Are people saying you're too old? Are you finding most of your messages blocked by age filters?

Age has nothing to do with wisdom as apparently some of the younger ones are capable to satisfying a woman and don't forget some older ones your age aren't capable of satisfying women. And what relevance is hiding a profile on being able to make a comment? |

I turned 50 just over a week ago. I quite like being able to say I'm now in my 50's. Many people do not get the chance.
Count your blessings.
As for meets. If you are polite , complimentary and be honest in what you are looking for , then they come naturally. I'm doing OK for a man in his 50's !

You shouldn't think it is just your age that's the problem. There are plenty of ladies and couples looking for guys in their 50's. I haven't checked out your profile and don't know what messages you send. Maybe you need to look at them. |

I'm 51 and a bit, there are countless profiles which I'm excluded from for one reason or another..
You mention folk exclude you through age filters , my suggestion concentrate on those that don't exclude and on those that do include you in their preferences,

I'm 48 & whilst I'm out of some peoples preference age wise, I tick the box with others.
I firmly believe age is just a number in reality not so much so on t'internet sites. |

I haven't had a meet either mate not the end of the world I'm 46 going on 20 I'm. Just getting to know people I was on another swingers site 2 yrs ago the coordinator was hottest woman I ve.seen and I bottled after 'she asked to be her partner. Plus I've been on here for 2 weeks so still newbie lol |

mortgage paid off, nice pension pot, everything you have worked hard for in life is now bought and paid off and your sitting back reaping what you have sowed
and once you reach the big 5-o its time for retirement and you can tour the world

maybe some people feel the same way about meeting someone who is 48 like you apparently do about meeting someone over 60.....
so its a bit hard to moan about other peoples preferences when you have one of your own.....
its called "glass houses".....
people always find a way to moan about the thing that excludes them... and its always interesting the reason they hit on for what they think the reason people don't want to meet is the one thing that always leaves them blameless...

the truth is yes it may be the reason.. it may be part of the reason... but there are a million other reasons it may not!!! and it much much harder to look yourself in the mirror over those...... |

It certainly isn't about age it's about attitude..
I find that many non Fabs men over 45 have an old attitude whereas on Fabs they're more open minded and free spirited.
Of course there's always exceptions |

I would agree with you that age doesn't always come into it or perhaps shouldn't. But being on fab, you are probably more liberal than vanilla people anyway, whatever age. |
