"Had naff all apart from a text and I texted back saying I don't celebrate can't be arsed it's like Halloween a money making scheme "

Some things in life are not just about the financial cost of doing it.

Valentine's Day is one way of letting my lovely wife know how much I love her. Yes, I tell her frequently that I love her, but a woman loves a nice bunch of flowers and a sloppy box of chocs and a card with some cutesy words in it to make her feel that little bit more special than the day before.

That's worth £25.00 in my book.

Happy Valentine's one and all.

"some women do Wishy ...some women"

Quite right. Some women love flowers. The rest just eat them or wipe their bottoms with them.

My last Valentines card, in response to my red rose, card, wine & meal, was a folded piece of A4 paper with a hastily scribbled note on it.

Guess I should have known...

Ha! It was from a couple! So there! Ner!

Oh well... they did actually send me two messages this morning too... why do the do that?! I don't care that their service area has moved further afield. I get two beeps on my phone and I get all excited that someone actually does want to chat to me and then bam... some shite about my bill being ready to view online! Wooptydoo!

A luxury box of chocs... £10.00

A nice meal out... £50.00

A night in a luxury hotel... £140.00

As Granny said...some women ....,i find valentines a pointless exercise.Kev tells me he loves me daily, many times a day.A present bought out of the blue because he felt like it is far more meaningful to me than one society has told him to send

Sorry not to have posted earlier, but have only just been able to go online as I spent the afternoon in casualty. This is due to a few thousand thoughtless people who caused me countless injuries from papercuts from all the cards, then to add insult to the injuries, I had an asthma attack from the hayfever induced by the 14 deliveries from Interflora.

*sighs*

Oh well
