If you took all the blood vessels from the human body and laid them end to end, they would fit around the Earth at least twice. There would be around 60,000 miles of them. |

Oxford university is older than the Aztec Empire. The university was officially founded in 1249, although teaching is reported at Oxford from 1096. The Aztec empire, as we know it, began with the founding of Tenoctitlán, 1325. |

Not strictly true. Peter Pan was written in 1904. My grandmother was born in 1901 and her name was Wanda, then translation from Polish to English is Wendy. So there have been variations knocking around for considerable time before the book.
Pedantic I know

"Churchill’s secret bunker was in Neasden. It was so horrible he only went there once.
His War Rooms are still under The Treasury/ Foreign Office"
In the Imperial War Museum, back when they still had models of the Fleet, in the basement was Churchill's red velvet romper suit that he wore for much of the war.
It's somewhere between a posh onesie and an oversize baby-grow ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Although my fav Churchill quip comes from a time when the Privy Seal asked to see the PM while he was indisposed on the toilet.
The shout came back:
"Tell the Privy Seal I am sealed to my privy and can only deal with one shit at a time!"

"A ,Google' is the largest number with a name! It is 1 to the power of 100 !"
Sorry, it's Googol, not Google and it's not the largest number with a name.
A Googolplex is larger.
There are various others that have been proposed, that are larger still but the terms aren't in common use. |
