Herts

I feel frumpy 24/7 at the moment.

Was pregnant for the last two years in a row so my body is a bit of a wreck.

One is 18 months old and the other is 4 and a half months old, but the eldest has cerebral palsy so is almost a full-time job on his own.

I feel guilty taking any time out for myself to exercise or do any non-essential "preening" as I always think that time could be used for extra physio or sensory play for him...

When he starts school I plan on hitting it hard. It would be nice to finally get out of my bloody maternity clothes!

All the time, working so many hours and have a sick son so that a gym is out of the question. Just can't motivate myself. Slip on some heels and still think blurrrrr.

Xx

Think you look fabulous BTW

I'm frumpy, casual every day. I don't feel bad because of it,I feel comfortable. I haven't worn a short skirt since I was in my 20s. Heels were ditched about 7 years ago, only occasionally wedges on a night out. I like frump

When I feel like that I go to one of those shops that sells household paraphernalia. Something about soft furnishings, photo frames and cup holders cheers me up. Clothes don't.

I feel frumpy when I put on too much weight. That for me is an indicator that it's time to diet...I hit that particular low note last weekend so I'm watching what i eat and drink and after only a week I'm already feeling much better about myself and less frumpy.

I can really relate to this, my youngest is 7 months and I'm lucky that I get time to exercise but other body changes are very hard to adjust to. I think it's more being in that mum role when you're knackered and stressed and think no one in their right mind would look twice at you!!

Frumpy is as frumpy does. I feel frumpy when I feel podgy. Which doesn't seem to have any bearing on how fat I am or not; which is odd. At the moment I am definitely in frump mode.
