"t least 12 people including four Europeans were killed on Sunday after gunmen opened fire at a beach resort in Ivory Coast, according to a police source.
It happened at the L’etoile du Sud complex in Grand Bassam, a resort popular with Western tourists, some 40 kilometres east of the country’s main city, Abidjan.
Eyewitnesses speak of at least four heavily-armed gunmen opening fire on tourists on the beach.
Local reports also suggest the assailants were masked and carried grenades." |

Trouble in Ankara too, hopefully not related, both tragic wastes of lives though. I simply wouldn't travel to places of that kind of instability. Crazy tensions there! |

Although I do think economics and political reasons plays a huge part in a lot of these atrocities |
