So I gave up sugar in my tea about four weeks ago, I also have tried to cut down on my sugar intake generally, whilst doing this I actually felt so ill, tired, moody it was awful, anyway time passed and I'm back to normal old me and I don't take sugar in my tea, but I could only stick to it if I didn't have sugar in the house which was fine because we didn't need sugar in the house, until today we have the builders in tomorrow so of course stock up on the usual tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and SUGAR, well it's here and it's in the sugar bowl and I can't stop thinking about it, it's like it's calling me and I'm sitting here thinking, just one little cup of tea with sugar won't do any harm, but it will because it never stops at one, this is about the fifth time I have tried to give it up, omg I am an addict, damn those builders and their love of sugar help, Mrs cmy

Brighton - even Hove!

Stephen Fry had a sugar addiction too. He cured himself.

Have the sugar and fuck it off with the builders tomorrow

Only joking, don't let them little granulated white buggers win. You can do it. You're a strong independent woman.

Step away from the sugar bowl and do something you enjoy instead.

Tell the builders to bring their own sugar

Or just go and have a wank whenever you feel the craving

They could leave it in the van

Otherwise it'll be like a scene from a British '70s porn movie

. That's actually a good idea, maybe I could confess my addiction and get them to keep the sugar in the van and in the meantime I could lock it in the garage as when it's cold later I won't want to go outside and get it, because obviously we don't want a scene from a 70s porn movie going on

sugar is in most things but as far as sugar or sugar cubes go you don,t need them and its surpriseing how quickly you can come off them, I tend to not buy cerials these days because of no sugar on a daily basis unless I make porridge and use honey full of sugar but I have a sweet tooth.. I use sugar sweeteners in coffee surpriseing how many workmen either take them or just coffee and milk, same with salt unless I use it for special occasions and usually just a sprinkle at that you,ll be surprised a bit of will power and you,ll be freed of your addiction..

. Oii mr I'm not being a Mard ( well maybe a little) I know what you mean, there are worse things and I don't drink or smoke, I'm not completely cutting it out, I couldn't, and your right it won't kill me, but the thing is I used to be this skinny thing that could eat and drink whatever I liked and I just stayed skinny, I have always worked out and never had a really bad diet but if I wanted it I never bothered about eating it, then about six months ago I just changed, now I have my calories as low as I can get them and I exercise even more and yet I am still turning into this fat arsed thing that I don't recognise, my boobs have grown and everything, so I need to do all I can and this includes giving up sugar, most annoying thing is my sex drive is amazing now, it's always been good but now well there are no words!!! how come I couldn't have this sex drive in my skinny days anyway there ya go my reasons oh and yeah I'll put the kettle on

. Yeah mr cmy always says the same, sugar is definately not as bad as sweetners, but I think I can say I've given up the sugar it's just the staying away from it I'm struggling with, hence not even having it in the house until today, funny thing is I would always describe myself as not having an addictive personality, how wrong I was

I cut sugar out at 14 and was taking 2/3 heaped spoons it took a month to get used to it.

friends was a pain for putting it into my drink for long enough.

but I have a sweet tooth and can eat it straight from the bowl or satchet.

to have sugar in a drink its too sweet now but a chocolate drink is my Achilles heal thats when the sugar goes in the drink.

best advice go suck on a sweet instead will stop the craving for the sugar.

"best advice go suck on a sweet instead will stop the craving for the sugar.. Yeah I've heard others say sucking on a sweet, I find brushing my teeth helps, and I'm really getting used to a cup of tea without, your right about friends though, it's like they find it hard to accept you've given up, well done you for giving it up though

im sat here eating a cream cake

dosnt include the sweets that I eat

I normally buy sweets by a large bag lasts about 4 days before there all gone the bag is that big 2 days if your greedy with them as too many makes you not want them

I normally buy about 25.00 worth of sweets and have bought 50.00 worth of them

I have that much of a sweet tooth I prefer jelly sweets but buy mixed ones id post a pic up on site but dont think I can do "

. Omg you really do have a sweet tooth, bless ya, if your enjoying them and it's your thing then it's all good, we all have something we love in life

as goes for tea and coffee you may find this funny

tea I cant taste sugar but coffee, as I drink nescafe all day long clock around 15-20 or more cups a day

I can actually taste the sugar in the coffee drink but I have a milky drink

it goes for many a coffee drink out there as well it tastes sweet to my taste buds
