Photo veries

We notice a lot of profiles that will have joined quite a while a go yet wont even be photo verified. What are your opinions on it? To us, it seems dodgy, I mean it takes 30seconds to do?

(Yes we have common sense, we skip past these accounts obviously but wondering how everyone else sees it and if it matters to you?)

Yes it isn't complicated to get photo verif, after if I can see by their verification they are genuine, I am not bother that they didn't bother getting photo verif

I really don't hold much stock in it, all it does is allows you access to certain features. Like you say it takes 30 seconds so is no indicator of what they're like or if they will meet. Yes it confirms their sex nothing else

Obviously verified genuine without photo veri is fine. Its the ones without either that Im curious about I guess.

I see several reasons not to get a photo veri and I don't think they mean anything at all so I'm not bothered by them at all.

Meet veris mean a bit more but are still no guarantee of anything.

Yeah good point I guess. Good to gauge what other people's opinions are about it. As i say, its not a huge issue to us as we skip past them unless verified genuine anyway. Cheers for reply mate

Getting photo verified was one of the first things I did when I joined a few weeks back. And yeah it was approved only 30 minutes later.

I should add, I'm not photo verified and will never be photo verified.

Admin has said it will never be compulsory but if ever was, I'd leave.

I've given my reasons before and although some understood, it was too complicated for many and I got bored of trying to explain it, so I'm not going into why again here. It's a good enough reason for me.

It does make sense to get verified as it's easier to make friends and get meets etc

Guess it depends how serious someone is about getting accepted into the fab world

It can only be a bonus if you are photo verified and verified by others

What have you got to lose by doing it and the photo is kept private

So do we use our common sense. I only wanted to know other peoples opinions on it. It was in reference to accounts that are not genuine verified either, to me, i jusy wondered why they wouldnt bother at least photo verifying. Only after peoples thoughts on the subject rather than it being a dig. People like you are already verified so I have no idea why my original post came across like it was aimed at the likes of someone genuine like you?

It was clear enough. Some people just like to take offence and make something about them when clearly it isnt. Any idiot with half a brain would be able to realise that it wasnt a post about genuinly verified people but I guess if you need a more clear and concise post than that then either you are just looking for attention or just too short sighted to understand

With the gender imbalance in here, I'd doubt being photo verified would be an issue for many women. Absolutely no tone meant by that - just the way it is.

When I first joined, I could understand that some people would not want to do it for privacy reasons. When I did it myself, I have to think before going ahead as at that stage I wasn't going to put any face pics on here.

Much later on, I discovered that you don't have to show your face in you photo veri pic, so I'm a bit surprised that more (genuine) people don't do it. To me, the photo verification loses something by not having to show your face.

OP, my opinion is if they are meet verified but not photo verified there is no issue. I use my filters to stop inherited users from mailing me, it works well and I just avoid their profiles myself

We were on here for over 5 years before we got photo verified but we had verifications from meets. It just didn't seem important to have both.. But apparently for some people it is so we got our photo verification done this year. I guess others feel the same as we did.

As a couple looking for a Bi fem to join us and couples I would say it is more Important as a couple or woman to get verified in some way as there are alot of fakes pretending to be couples and women, I can't see anyone pretending to be a single man lol

A PV is mainly there to prove your gender and as I'm only here to meet men it doesn't matter to me if a male profile has a PV as it is very unlikely that it is going to be a fem masquerading as a bloke.

But they can be gotten around if a person is any good with photoshop.

I chose to get a PV pretty soon after I opened this account and am meet veried by many, some of them forum members, but I still get called a fake as I refuse to chat on the phone or on cam.

There is just no pleasing some people so I have no wish to even try.

It seems I gave the wrong impression with the original post. Wording wasnt the best in hindesite. Im glad that a lot of you have taken the debate for what it really is and had a good discussion on here. To those of you it offended, i hope by now you have all seen that it wasnt aimed at people that have been meet verified but just a general opinion seeking post about photo verification in general. I was just curious to know if it matters to people or not. Lots of love to all of you, hope this explains and makes ammends.

If it shows your face, it proves you are a swinger as you are acknowledging the fact with the paper with your profile name and fabswingers written on it, ffs, it aint that difficult a concept to grasp!

You don't need to show your face to be photo verified - full length nude is acceptable.

It's only purpose is to verify the sex of the account holder.

We've never bothered - just got verified by a personal meeting.

Yes exactly, although it can also sometimes be a useful step for single guys on here towards getting a greater level of interest if they don't have any cam/meet verifications. I know that's not the official reason photo verifications exist, but I believe many will ignore non verified (whether photo or cam/meet) users.

I don't object to the photo verification. Wouldn't do it with my face though. As a woman I feel like it lends a little bit of credibility to the fact I actually am female, as there are plenty of fake verifications by meeting out there. Obviously it's not foolproof, but every little helps.

The only point is to show you're the sex you're claiming to be, or that if you're a couple there actually are two of you. It's not supposed to demonstrate anything else.

And..... we are back to my original point, which is that they are too easily faked.

If you don't have to show faces, all you need is to find a pic of the type of profile you want to fake, and bob's ya aunties best friend!
