Maybe not BAD, but defiantly attention seeking and expresses extremist views (possibly exaggerated to appeal to a target audience). I don't know much about US politics aside from what I read/see in the media but I don't think Trump's views are any better or worse than Ted Cruz. He just attracts more attention due to his high media profile. I doubt that I would vote for either as I dislike the xenophobic rhetoric in their speeches. |

No question he is bad, but I'll say what a lot won't, I strongly believe he will be elected.
A lot of the time in the States it's to put it politely rigged anyway, look at Bush, the man was a corrupt loon but got elected.

He made a great point about doing a deal with American companies that spend trillions of dollars outside of the USA building and manufacturing ,being induced back ..
and that if the Secretary of state has done so little up till now(jobs wise) that wasnt going to change now.

For me the issue is not whether I think Donald Trump is a good or bad person...
He is a very successful businessman and I can understand many people will admire the qualities needed to achieve that....
I'm also sure there will people in his private life who genuinely love and adore him ...
As a potential leader he exhibits a forthright demeanour and demonstrates a commitment to make changes and fix problems that many people feel passionate about...
He courts publicity but doesn't shy away from controversy ,,,,,,
He is to all intense and purpose the personification of someone who will only offer a deal he intends delivering without compromise ....
Do I think Donald the right man to lead the USA.....? it's not for me to decide....
But I just don't think the rest of the world needs Donald leading the USA......  |
