"Apple and blackberry crumble and custard mmmm
Or syrup sponge, I'm not fussy!"
Syrup sponge is the tops. Crumble though is one of the few things i don't like. It might be over sweet for me |

I must admit that I do do a pretty mean bread n butter pudding - though it turns out like a heart attack on a plate. I make mine with fresh thick cream and custard and butter the bread with jam too.
I agree a decent black forest gateaux is gorgeous.
and I love creme brulee

Magic Chocolate Pudding
I'll go post the recipe on the other thread. Very quick to throw together, and the magic is that when you serve it up the pudding will be sat in it's own chocolate sauce! |

My usuals are Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse and No-bake Cheesecake in strawberry or peanut butter, the latter with a chocolate fudge topping.
I guess I can knock up an Eaton's Mess by using shop-bought meringue nests. |

Ooo, I forgot to mention I could also make creme brulee and creme caramel, and am good at making pancakes - banana, whipped cream with ground sesame seeds is a personal favourite! |

Cheesecake (lime & ginger or lemon), tarte tatin (no yucky custard stuff to spoil it), chocolate roulade with a lemony fresh cream filling
Drool......

I love anything with treacle, with cream, as I don't like custard unless it is cold.
I also love a nice apple crumble with lots of chunky lumps, with or without soft fruit, again with cream, not custard.

A crumble of either apple, blackberry, rhubarb or raspberry. A bread and butter pudding but not as fancy as Iconic`s. Syrup/treacle/chocolate sponge. Could have hot custard with all but the bread and butter pudding! Finally, Xmas pudding with whipped double cream! |
