It's similar for women too, although not to the same degree as you mentioned above. If we reference a woman's pussy as being akin to 'roadkill' they understandably get very upset by it. I have seen some really pretty pussies in my time but I have also seen some that really should have been tucked back in after childbirth but got forgotten about by the paediatrician.
And yes, I was being deliberately crude there to emphasise my point: which is that women ridicule men over their penis size as they know it's the easiest way to wind a man up. Men do it too to score points in the "Man's Club" and it's all deemed acceptable, but, if a man makes derogatory remarks about a woman's ass/pussy/saggy tits/love handles/baby belly etc etc etc then he's an absolute bastard in the eyes of both men AND women.
