India has become such a rich nation that, in addition to it's own space and nuclear programmes, it also has it's own international monetary aid fund. Some £300m is set aside to hand out to needy countries in dire straits.
Rather coincidentally, India recieves in international aid from the UK the grand sum of....
...
..yup, £300m!!
