As a matter of fact it's all dark". It's one of my favourite bits of trivia. Technically there is no dark side, both the far side and the near side receive about equal amounts of direct sunlight. However due to the moon having a 28 "day" rotation which is the exact same time as one rotation around us, the far side always appears dark to us ie in our shadow., the name the dark side was originally meant as the unknown not a direct meaning of "dark". . . . Originally we went with 13 lunar months in a year but abandoned it not out of accuracy but because 13 is unlucky!. | |||

"As far as floyd were concerned, ultimately better together. Seen Floyd post waters 3 times and waters 3 times also. Earliest recollection of Floyd was an older cousin playing the newly released Wall, which at 10 I thought wtf is that... And seeing the album cover of Dark Side, forever in the chart section at Asda... This with Wish you were here and the wall, and Waters, pros and cons and radio kaos are my personal favourites of floyd/waters stuff. Not to say the other stuff isn't great. | |||

It's all personal." Spot on - it is a very personal thing. I don't get the Beatles, bar for a couple of songs, I don't get the Stones, again bar for a couple of songs.
