do we still buy paperbacks?

just ordered 3 this morning, read them many years ago, but excited to read again;

1; The Forgotten Soldier: War on the Russian Front - A True Story Sajer, Guy

2; Devil's Guard -Elford, George Robert

3; Legionnaire: The Real Life Story of an Englishman in the French Foreign Legion - Murray, Simon

No I only buy hardbacks because the writing is bigger as my eyesight isn't so good anymore. Last books I bought were Jackie Collins novels.

Paulina & Fran. Just starting it.

I have to read real books - I tried kindles, but its not the same. I like them for a plane journey as less clutter but I like old books best.

Im kindle convert for fiction. But i cant digest factual based stuff like that i prefer a paperback.

Just bought Alone in the Dark by Karen Rose, do love a good murder mystery. Currently reading a Val McDermid "Tony Hill profiler" book, it's that good it can even drag me away from Fab

I need to go & buy Animal Farm to help the eldest - I didn't cover it at school

...and Michael Mulpurgo is excellent too.

My fav is a kids book The Sad Story of Veronica Who Played The Violin.

It's by the guy who did Mr Benn and, unlike every other kid's book, there's someone crying on (nearly) every page. It's great

Oh thanks for the warning!!! We did Of Mice & Men & Romeo & Juliet which I both loved!! He covered OM&M last year though
