"Try Rush " Another for Rush. Iron Maiden are also a big like for me, some of their 80's albums have some good story based lyrics. Recommended newer Maiden would be Brave New World and A Matter of Life and Death. Both those albums are worth listening to from start to finish.

For me, im a lyrics girl, so nothing that sounds like screaming throughout, i just wont like it. Bands i like already to give you an idea... Blindside Dope Drowning pool Evans Blue etc I dont mind a little heavy, for example my current favourtite song is die mf die by dope " New band's I like pvris

I have it somewhere and keep meaning to dig it out and rip it. Their albums since are very good if not as good. "Clutch have been mentioned alot i will set up the follow now and listen tommorow Clutch good on record but utterly fab in concert! Clutch haven't released a decent album in years. The latest one is ok but they sound too generic and predictable. I love their Impetus ep from when they still had a bit of hardcore in them. " I must admit psychic warfare isnt my fave, think they mite be running out of ideas

I must admit psychic warfare isnt my fave, think they mite be running out of ideas" Think that happened after Blind Tyrant which was their break through album. It's so easy to come up with a Tim Sult riff by just picking up a guitar. From Beale Street To Oblivion was a great record but was already following a familiar pattern. I just a saw a comment about SYL. I fucking love Devin Townsend. One of Metal's greatest performers and the last of a dying breed of Rock star. I saw Devon Townsend Band and SYL on the same bill in a small club in London with Zimners Hole. One of the best gigs I've seen.

"Operation: Mindcrime by Queensryche. Fantastic concept album. Also their album after that one, "Empire"." What a legend of an album and yeah empire was also a stunner.
