A little group of us did this when in our late teens. Started off as a dare at a house party (we weren't swingers lol...but teen parties always ended up with naughtiness).

6 of us did end up going to the cemetery and indeed going for it.

I don't think it is something I would do now...I've developed more "respect". Not for the dead who clearly wouldn't have a clue...but for their relatives who would not wish to find such evidence.

I've said this before but I'll say it again... I was out for a walk with my FWB on the way back from lunch and we were wandering through an old graveyard... i.e. early 1900's sort of graveyard that was completely overgrown in pretty thick woods. It wasn't a cemetery that was in use with fresh graves. It was in the middle of the afternoon and we were alone. No-one saw us, the dead were long dead and we technically didn't offend anyone other than half of you here it seems who are offended on behalf of the dead or their relatives who are most likely also dead.

We had a standing up quickie, not on a grave (because I do have some morals) not because it was a graveyard but simply because we were in the moment. I can wholly appreciate people's _iews but I don't feel bad, I wouldn't rush out to do it again or indeed go to a graveyard solely to have sex. I would no more fuck on a child's grave and the implication stated above is crass in comparison to having a quickie on the way home. I'm not going to apologise for not being religious, I'm not going to apologise for living life and seizing an opportunity to be a bit naughty in broad daylight in the middle of the afternoon in some woods which just happened to be an old graveyard.

So you're welcome to judge, assume I have no respect for the dead or whatever else you choose to think and I'll choose not to lose any sleep over something that did no-one any harm.

I'm not sure many people would have sex in a mosque, or a synagogue, or Auschwitz, or a Native American burial site - but because graveyards are Christian the importance of them to other people somehow doesn't count. Even if that person lived 500 years ago. Even if they died at 105 years old peacefully, that grave is their final resting place.

Hate to break it to you but even in the 1900s children died. More of them, in fact. Even overgrown old graveyards have children buried in them. I think what some people write on here is taken as absolute gospel and think by having sex in a graveyard, people mean directly on top of a grave.

Well to re ignite the thread , we have had a few pm's talking about a popular dogging spot around the cannock area , which just hapoens to be a cemetery .

There's a difference between having sex discreetly outdoors, and someone being fucked over a headstone while a funerals going on.

I've had sex with my ex in a cemetery near where I used to live. It was late at night there was no one near by to offened, no graves were trampled on or defaced etc. As far as I'm concerned no harm was done and we enjoyed ourselves.

The difference is that a graveyard is a sacred space. You might not believe that so crack on, but I do, which is why I find the entire thing naff, tasteless and offensive regardless of whether you're spunking all over a freshly laod tombstone or shagging against a tree in the corner. There's no difference, for me, because it's about what the graveyard as a place actually means.

I also can't get away from the fact that actually it's the shock value that appeals not the act itself. So people who want to do it need people like me who find it nauseating otherwise they wouldn't get off on their little act of rebellion against whatever it is they think they're rebelling against. Otherwise what the fuck would be the point in the graveyard vs a back garden or a bowling green.

So where's the "kick" from graveyard sex as opposed to sex in a field - but from knowing it's something people might have a problem with?

Personally, I think if was 'acceptable' to the masses for people to fuck in graveyards it wouldn't interest you, the taboo factor is what gives you the sexual kick.(I maybe wrong obvs)

The difference for me is a graveyard is a recognised place for people to be buried / ashes scattered & sacred for that reason.

The park bench next to the village duck pond where so & so is scattered is not in the same league imo.

That's a fair point , but the sacred bit is hard to swallow as most churches were built on pagan ground .

And we aren't religious so it doesn't mean much to us .

Since we haven't done it yet , we haven't actually offended you or anyone else .

When we have we will take the flack , and no doubt it will be worth it

Out of interest then, where exactly does the sacred place end ? At the gates, so it would be acceptable to have sex outside the entrance to a cemetery ? A few hundred meters from the border ? , which in my own personal situation, would have encompassed 3 peoples houses and one pub.

So I'm right then - you want the flack, you want to offend. I'm sure you'll be along to boast once you've done it and, as they say on this site, each to their own. I will never understand sexual gratification through causing deliberate offence but others obviously get off on it as this post shows.

I don't believe we get off on causing deliberate offence at all . No more so than rock and roll in the 50s , hippys in the sixties spreading free love , or punk in the 70s .

We enjoy black metal music and the visual images too . Graveyards , are a part of that .

We enjoy dogging , so doing it in a graveyard kills 2 birds with one stone .

One thing is certain , we certainly wouldn't do it just because you would be offended .

And yes , we would take pictures , and being the fab pics floozies we are , we would post them on here . Not to piss anyone off , any more than those who dislike action pics , cum pics etc.... But because we get a buzz from it .
