So I'm planning a date tomorrow with a girl way out of my league so it needs to be good. I don't have much money so can't be anything too expensive. She's said she would like to do something Random but she seems nice so I want to put abit of effort in. Maybe wrong place to put this bearing in mind the site but I wanted some ladies ideas of something they would like to do/appreciate on a first date ![](/icons/s/redface.gif) |

Cook her an amazing meal at yours(if you can) put on some romantic music, then tell her you thought after yous could go bowling/to a beach, take a walk and ask her random as shit questions to get to know her, like taking turns etc walk her back to her place andif she gives the signs she had a good time(laughing/smiling alot/her complimenting the evening) then give her a kiss, not too full on but just enough to make her want more, dont expect sex and have fun! Our first few dates went something along those lines (along with Jack Daniels which lead to me almost breaking my shoulder and Mr giving me a back rub) and we're now 6years down the line! (That would be my perfect first date though if I had to do it again) |

Stoke area |
Go for a walk through a field of snowdrops or alongside a river or canal. Take a picnic and eat in on your car after the walk. Share a bottle of Wine ( one glass for the driver only ) chat, laugh, smile. Sorted ! |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Take her on the Plymouth treasure trail. It's free. You have to solve the clues together so it will give you something to talk about without having to worry about what to say.
Maybe have a little treat ready for each correct answer, like a chocolate for one, a drink at the pub for another etc.

Aim for the moon my friend! If you miss you might just hit a star! It's all a matter of perspective, if you tell yourself she is out of your league she will pick up on it. She must like something or you wouldn't have even got a first date. ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

If she's more high maintenance and you're after a standard date, stick with the tried and tested dinner/drinks option.
If she's more chilled and you want something slightly different, feeding the ducks/aquarium visit - they're my favourite types of date. |

Take her somewhere quiet, so that you can hear what she has to say, I would say, take her star gazing, swot up on the stars, and tell.her about them, this gives you an excuse to get close to her, wrap a blanket around yourselves, hold her close, and show her the wonders of the universe, and save all that money you would have spent o. A meal, and make an evening to remember instead ![](/icons/s/2/cute.gif) |

"The zoo or a comedy club make for the best dates early on."
I love comedy clubs but went on a first date recently and he sat there half laughing at everything (nerves maybe?) and after when we were chatting his jokes were abysmal. I think he was trying to live up to the comedians and just wasn't able to! So not so great for a first date in my opinion but a couple of dates down the line it's a brilliant idea! |
