I would say it's because not all larger women like to identify themselves as BBW so there's risk of inadvertently offending. Whereas everyone identifies as someone who has a left eyebrow |

The reason I wouldn't name someone is because I may think they're large & 'qualify' for a BBW & they might not see themselves that way at all!

Ok jokes aside and ive got my serious head on..
Threads like this i truly believe hold no malice and are created with good intent to mearly flatter/compliment the nominee's
However its all down to personal preference and perception of others. While being a rather large size 28/30 dont mind the label BBW.. Some could say im SSBBW. Someone who is a size 14 might HATE it..
So to nominate someone who doesnt agree with the term can lead to ill feelings unfortunately.
