a grand for a clutch! i only bought the car a month before for £1200. didnt get it done and found out clutch was fine. it was a little gromet slowly letting air in which was dropping the clutch! cost a fiver to fix lol x |

Cistern overflow 3.30am.
Phoned 24hr plumbers...answerphone.  Got hold of British Gas plumbers: £149 call out plus £49 for every 15 minutes. At that time of the morning they wouldn't fix anything just turn off the water. 
I wonder if anyone pays those exorbitant prices?!! Crooks! Turned off my own water got friend who's plumber to fit new ballcock for £40! |

LDV minibus, there is a metal pipe about 14" long that joins the water pipes for the heater, its a 15mm pipe £168 plus vat, absolutely criminal.
So went to a hardware shop brought a piece of 15mm copper tube 14" long and 2 plastic ties and got change out of a £5.
go figure that, the robbing bar stewards. |
