I used to have a peplum corset that was a bit longer than usual and flared out over the hips for that very reason. I bloody loved it. |

Full length mirror, and start from the top with your thumb down the centre and every time you come to a criss cross tighten it up until you get to the middle. Then do the same from the bottom up (assuming your laces do up in the middle rather than at the bottom). Keep hold of your extra length with your free hand so it doesn't loosen.
When you get to the middle and your laces are long, pull them around in front of you and cross them over as if you're going to tie them, but just swap hands and pull tighter.
Have a good old shuffle around in there and make sure you boobs are where you want them to be. You might find you've laced the ladies in too tightly the first few times but you'll soon know how lose/tight is comfortable. |
