How happy are you?

Fast approaching the big 'five O' and I am about as happy as I have ever been - maybe it helps that I seem to be attracting more women and women of a greater age range than ever before, however, I believe that it is my happy demeanor which helps me to be attractive, rather than simply physical traits.

Just where I need to be. |
I am happy with myself. I have my health, great family and friends and a job I love.  Having a positive attitude helps and if I'm feeling less than happy I go into my cave to address matters. |

having passed the milestone of which you speak last year, I have to say am so much more happier with my lot than I ever was when I was younger....everything seems to have fallen into place....about time is all I can say |

Generally - with life and everything - I'm probably running at about a 6 or 7 out of 10. Ok. Not ecstatic but certainly not in a bad place. I'm doing ok.
More money, a better job, more holidays, a child, my football team not being *quite* so shit and I'd be happier. But I also realise I'm very lucky with what I have |

Having suffered depression for 22 years now. I'm at my happiest I've been in many years.I put it all down to meeting my husband and getting married 6 months ago. Life is great at the minute. |

I'm fairly happy in life. 50 today ! I like my job and have a good lifestyle and income. Although I do miss my children now they have grown up and flown the nest. |

losing your mum is one of the hardest loss to bear in life. Mine died on my birthday 8 years ago. Still painful. It does get a bit more bearable. Xxx |

I was so content a few years ago. My life was just great, can honestly say that. Had been studying a few years, money no problems there, kids doing well and my family happy.
These days i'm meh, looking for something but not sure what. I think i'm looking for me.
Not unhappy but feel kind of bewildered with the world, not really understanding why things are the way they are and why the world has turned out this way and is like it is, but i understand a lot more than i did and they say knowledge lads to more questions and knowing you don't know shit. |

Today I'm pissed off but generally I'm a content 9/10. A huge lottery win would push that up to a 10 as it would enable all the niggles to be fixed that currently make it a 9. |

Happier than I have ever been, because I don't pretend to be what I'm nit like I had to in my twentie.
I'm not I'm a relationship because of being scared of being alone, like I was in my thirties,
And I'm free of drugs and alcohol in like my teens.
And if like me, you.feel that we have children to replace ourselves on this planet, then I have replaced a fairly mediocre person, with two really good ones.
So yeah, I'm as happy as a room without a roof *because I'm happyyyyyy* lol |

Maybe the reason you allegedly attract more women is because you are more prolific, in an area that is not highly populated so these women compromise on their height and age preferences. Maybe they don't want to meet you again- so consequently the number of meets rises at the same rate, unlike many on here who have lots of meets with the same group of people over time!

I can't ever remember being quite as happy as I am right now. I feel I've finally turned a corner in my life and I'm heading in the right direction. There's still a long way to go but I'm at least on my way now. I'm finally looking forward to the future.
It's a shame I wasn't like this 20 years ago like I should have been, but that's life I guess. Just as everyone my age is now settled down with kids, a mortgage and god knows what else, I feel I'm just now finally starting out on life's journey. |

I can honestly say that at 43 I'm the happiest I've ever been.
Work might not be massively secure but I've come to realise that other things in life such as health and family are much more important to me.
I'm in much better shape now than I was at 18 and I'm doing all the things I should have been doing back then right now..and loving it!!  |

I've had a huge amount of upheaval in the last few months
I'm happy but with loads of room for improvement,I'm enjoying each day and I'm blessed to know some amazing people |

I will be 57 this month. Had you told me years ago that at nearing 60 I would be this happy and content with my lot I would have laughed at them. However, having achieved my dream job, paid off my mortgage, retired, and can do exactly what I like with my time and no one to answer to, oh, and not forgetting meeting some gorgeous men as well  I am happy as a pig in s..t |

Absolutely with you OP. I (he) is very happy with lots of personal ticks, really don't have much to complain about, however, I am aware my general happiness does wind others up but it doesn't matter as I'm a very happy soul. |

I (her) am approaching this milestone at what feels an alarming rate. I'm certainly very content and my plans are progessing well for health, fitness and hopefully a new job before I hit 50 next year. I feel happier and more positive than I've done in ages. |

Perfectly happy with my lot and it has no correlation to my sex life. I have a great job which doesnt feel like work and is well paid.

I've never really given it much thought, I'm quite introverted as a person so I'm quite passive when it comes to anything really. I wouldn't say I'm happy, nor am I close to sad. I just am.
With that said though, I bring it on myself. I'm 28, and quite secluded. I hardly know anyone (in general) but I'm quite content with that.

I received s picture of my grandson whose 6 months today, you can tell he's been stuffed round lots of cushions to look as though he's sitting up himself. With a message saying happy birthday grandma and lots of love from him. That is what makes me happy compared to shagging a 100 David Beckham look alike or any other good looking men |
