Or are you happy where you are?

I've always fancied Australia - but it's so damn far from everyone here.

Rather suspect I will end up back in Scotland, much closer and so beautiful.

I've always wanted to go and live in NZ, but being a similar climate to UK have thought about other places too.....

Really like the Ardeche area of France and very nearly purchased a house in a little area of Spain called Allbaracin, fantastic medieval walled town in a valley surrounded by pine forests and sand, lots of history and lovely wildlife with great food and beer too

.

The average daytime temperature during July is 31 degrees.

The average night time temperature is 28 degrees.

In January it's completely different with average day time temperatures of 29 degrees

And at night it's 27 degrees of course that's the difference between the extra 35 minutes of light you get in the summer .

It must be a little bizarre but reliable needing only shorts

It's a difficult choice.

Of all the places I've been, and if I had to make a snap judgement...

Switzerland or Vienna for the winter, maybe Belize for the spring, 'summer' in the London and autumn in Rome.

Maybe. Can't make up my mind.

Fortunate to have lived near Victoria, Vancouver Island, for 2 years when younger. Been back four times since and I usually stay a month or so. Planning to retire somewhere in BC when the kids are fully established.

I went for a month last August and priced up some property, for what I could sell my relatively modest house for, I could buy a lodge with 3 bathrooms, and an acre of land.

For me the grass isn't greener!

I have lived in many places and had a fantastic time knowing it was temporary.

When permanence sets in - it almost always becomes dreary wherever you are!

I think living life in seasons is the way forward!

Always having somewhere to look forward to!

Also for me it's about the people I'm surrounded by not the place I'm in.

I used to live in China and loved it so wouldn't mind going back there, otherwise Norway would be good (I've traveled the whole world and Norway is the most beautiful o me) Or any of the Scandinavian countries, Canada as well gives a good standard of living. I have always wanted to live on an island like near Palau though, just open up a surf school and relax for life.

Australia's somewhere I haven't been, everyone I know who has gone there has fallen in love with it and never returned, I think I'm slightly put off by the fact EVERYTHING wants to kill you there

Better hurry up, 40% house price increases last year pushed up the average house price in Vancouver to 1.8 million dollars, stupid prices are now pushing out older residents to victoria and alike where they saw 55% increases!
