I have been told to put honey on my back when I get a break out of eczema, reduces the redness and helps clear up any bad skin cells so im told?

I am going to buy some tomorrow from a health shop, Manuka honey 25+ is what I have been told to get.

Has anyone on here used it? And if so did you get the results you were hoping for?

Nothing more embarrassing than taking your shirt off and Having little red patches/spots or any other skin condition!

Just want to find a way yo clear my skin without having to resort to tablets.... anyone help?

MrWho uses Manuka on his face and it's worked wonders for his acne. He's at work at the moment but I'm sure he'll be happy to tell you about it if you pm us.

With things like this I think the only way to find out is to try it. I imagine it would be quite sticky though and Manuka honey is very expensive.

I don't care about the cost, as long as it clears up my skin condition.

Can you imagine how embarrassing it is to get my shirt off and people seeing how bad it is sometimes

Just want a nice spot free, non itching back for once.

It's put a stop to any sort of play, I personally don't get my top off at the moment due to it being soo bad

Has anyone had any good feedback from this honey? About £25 a tub, so I want to know that it does actually do something, and also how to use it too.

I'm a nurse and regularly prescribe it.

It doesn't haven't to be manuka but at least organic.

Have you tried oats in the bath? I'm being serious as the water emulsifies the proteins in the oats which can soothe breakouts.

No idea whether manuka honey works. If it does, it sounds like it may (who knows) be some sort of osmosis effect. Try salt water? Try seeking a GP's advice as well as alternative advice?

Could I message you for some details about it please.

Essex.

If you are buying Manuka honey, make sure you buy from a reputable source...

Word wide sales of Manuka are about 4 or 5 times larger than the amount produced...

Google redlight therapy OP - they are sunbeds (stand up or lie down) with red lights that actually boost collagen and HEAL. Eczema is supposed to be one of the conditions that it helps the most.

True - but have you heard of the new "red light" sunbeds - they heal.
