I'll go and see my mum on Saturday with a card and a gift but I go and see her a lot anyway and if I see something I think she'll like I take it for her whatever day it is.

She can never open cards when we're there because they always make her cry... that isn't the result we really want lol

Do we have the same mum??

Any special things make mine cry, even if it's something stupid like bring her a red rose from my garden.

In the middle

Last year my youngest have me a lovely card and wrote in it " you are the best mum I could ever wish for and I love you very much", needless to say I was in floods and my heart nearly burst with love for him

I think she's just reminded of the fact that she got me instead of one of those text book daughters and cries about what might have been

I'm going to see my mum with my boys on Sunday, which again will be nice

I no longer speak with my mum, so instead buying for someone else... Well that's if it arrives on time, if not it'll be late

Im going to try convince my kids to play nicely and let me sleep, but as that won't work it'll be just the same as any other day... Cooking cleaning and looking after kids

That's a lovely gesture, which, as crazy as it sounds may help you at this sad time.

I'll take some new flowers, something seasonal I can plant & spend a little time sitting & thinking.

My mummy is in Somerset so I'll phone her (she doesn't like me wasting my money on cards n gifts). She's had a rotten month last month with my dad having open heart surgery n my bro having septis.

My baby girls will come a see me Sunday for the afternoon and tea. I don't care if they bring me nothing I just want cuddles espesily off my ranty teen.

I lost my mum in October, after a nasty battle with cancer. So this is my first mothers day without her.

Absolutely dreading it. It's been really hard seeing all the adverts for mothers day

Think I'll just hibernate for the day

It is strange and very painful. I have decided to do what she did for her parents, and that's to buy a single flower and put in next to her photo, just to mark the occasion

Putting a flower by her photo is a lovely idea - I lost my mum to cancer 2 years ago - I miss her so much!

I don't have children of my own so I'm working.
