BMW letter

So BMW have written to employees of subsidiary Rolls Royce cars in UK stating that staying in EU would be better.

What do you think? Blackmail? Good advice?

Clearly BMW are a German company who export loads of cars to UK. They are part owned by German Government (I think but I'm sure others will know). Either way they have a vested interest.

But also should we exit they will also have a big interest in keeping any market/trade arrangements the same as they are.

A few other big companies have come out on the stay side. Often those who employ large numbers of immigrant workers on minimum wage. They have warned that their costs may go up.....is this because they will then have to pay a decent wage to attract British workers?

Any comments/views on what/why some businesses are jumping in on a particular side in the argument?

I think they should keep their opinions to themselves.

The in campaign have stated that One of the downsides of leaving will be higher wages. Someone please explain to me how a better remunerated population is a bad thing?

Desborough

If BMW are sending out a letter why they think it's good for the company that UK remain in EU that's fair enough, as long as it is plain factual reasons and not what if propaganda.
